These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and us governing your use of the Lodestar iOS application ("the App").
By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Read this section before anything else.
Lodestar produces suggested sleep timings from your baby's age and the information you enter. Those suggestions are general educational guidance drawn from published infant sleep research. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and they are not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified health professional who knows your child.
In an emergency, stop using the App and get medical help immediately. Contact your pediatrician or your local emergency number if your baby shows signs such as a fever in a young infant, refusal to feed, difficulty breathing, unusual lethargy or unresponsiveness, or signs of dehydration. The App includes prompts intended to direct you to professional care in some of these situations, but it cannot detect a medical emergency and you must never rely on it to do so.
You are solely responsible for decisions you make about your child's care. Follow safe sleep guidance from your pediatrician and from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and legally able to enter into this agreement. The App is intended for parents and caregivers. It is not intended for use by children.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
